Hi, this is Alex and Dean - Gay Men Talking, coming to you from San Francisco!
Today we talk about our upcoming trip to Los Angeles for the Portable Media and Podcast Expo and our night out in West Hollywood with the “Dirty White Boys” of From the Ville. Be afraid….be very, very afraid. In the news we talk about the San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders and his change of heart over gay marriage. Not having a change of heart are the ex-gay ministries who are delusional to think their “scientific” study proves that their methods work. Any time someone comes out “more gay” you should be very wary.
And the Emmy goes to… Alex and Dean! Okay, we didn’t win an Emmy but that doesn’t prevent us from talking about who won, who lost, who looked good, and who looked like they needed fashion help from Alex. We also discuss the new television season and our favorite returning (gay) shows and some new shows that have some good buzz. Speaking of a good buzz, time for some wine.

Today, we talk about our trip to New York City to see the musical RENT. We had three fun filled days in Time Square and Lower Manhattan. We take you from the top of Rockefeller Center to Ground Zero and Time Square to Central Park. The sights, sounds, people and food were great! We give Matthew a call to see if New York City survived our visit.
Does our girl, Kathy Griffin talk hate speach? We will let you know. Britney Spears may have lost her fans; all except one, Chris Crocker. You have to see the YouTube videos! Tonight is the Emmy Awards, so Alex will be dreaming about Neil Patrick Harris and Ryan Seacrest.

Alex and I have returned safe and sound from our trip to New York City. We had the most wonderful time. RENT was fantastic, the food was great and the sights and sounds were something you have to experience for yourself!
Thank you Matthew for your wonderful generosity. We enjoyed meeting you and your friends and sharing a drink or two.
Hopefully Alex and I can record a podcast very soon and share our New York experiences with all of our friends.

Hi Everyone,
Alex and I are off to New York City! It will be our first time there. If we can sleep on the plane tonight, we will have a full day of sight-seeing tomorrow. We have planned a full itinerary. Alex is really looking forward to seeing RENT in NYC.
We won’t be able to post a podcast this weekend, but maybe one early next week. I will try to post some cellphone pics up on our flicker site.

I highly recommend the film "Shelter". It is one of the best gay films that Alex and I have seen to date! It is a beautiful love story that ends the way all love stories should. It had me crying tears of joy. Dean
